Delete your account

You can delete your GOODLOAD account and data whenever you want. Here is how, and exactly what happens.

Delete from inside the app

  1. Open GOODLOAD and log in.
  2. Go to Settings and tap Delete account permanently (in Hindi: खाता हमेशा के लिए मिटाइए).
  3. Read the list of what will be deleted, type the confirmation word and confirm.

Deletion happens straight away and cannot be undone.

Can’t open the app?

If you have lost your phone or cannot log in, email goodloadaps@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my account”. Write from the Gmail linked to your account if you can, and mention your GOODLOAD ID and mobile number. We will confirm that the account is yours, then delete it within 30 days and let you know.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile — name, business name, GSTIN, address and photos
  • All your bills, customers, suppliers and account entries
  • Your shop items, stock and product photos
  • Your marketplace posts and service applications
  • Your public card, your mobile-number lookup and your address / GSTIN auto-fill entry
  • Your login — mobile number, linked Gmail and password

What stays

  • Bills you already sent to other users stay in their records, because they are their business records too.
  • Your GOODLOAD ID number stays reserved (without your details), so it is never given to someone else.
  • Anything we must keep by law, for as long as the law requires.

GST law requires you to keep your invoices and accounts for several years. Download or print your bills before you delete your account — once deleted, we cannot bring them back.

Staff logins

If you are the owner, remove a staff member’s login from the staff section in the app. If you are a staff member and want your login removed, ask the owner of the business, or write to us.
